How We Make a Difference

Our Commitment to the Community

One in ten families is directly touched by a person with a developmental disability. Each year, ARC of Greater Milwaukee serves over 5,000 children and adults with disabilities and their families through our Advocacy, Information and Assistance, Corporate Guardianship, Case Management, Community Trust, and Community Training services.

Our commitment is to support each person served utilizing a person–centered focus and to be flexible in our approach to service delivery to encourage maximum growth and successful outcomes for each consumer.

ARC of Greater Milwaukee is also deeply committed to promoting the presence of people with disabilities in the community and the positive impact they have when they are active, contributing members of the community.

ARC of Greater Milwaukee will continue to demonstrate its leadership by providing new or expanded services that meet emerging needs, including Self–Protection Training, Self–Advocacy Programs, Transition and Education, Intergenerational Family Support and Consumer, Family and Systems Advocacy Services.
